ICDC Members enjoyed a magnificent New Year's Eve experience featuring 8 live bands, DJs, and other entertainments at the Marriott Marquis, Washington's DC's most spacious hotel.

F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel “The Great Gatsby” characterized the glamor and decadence of the 1920s and out Great Gatsby Ball offered the perfect setting to experience the elegance, splendor, and extravagance of 1920s America.

The Kreeger Museum, one of the world's finest museums of 19th and 20th century masterpieces of Monet, Picasso, Renoir, Cézanne, and others was open late for an exclusive after-hours engagement featuring live jazz, appetizers, and cocktails.

We enjoyed an elegant garden soiree at the historic Dumbarton House Museum and Gardens featuring sophisticated jazz, elegant fashion, strolling in the garden while making new friends, and a night of dancing under the stars and in the elegant ballroom.

ICDC Members enjoyed a candlelit evening on the eve of Santa Lucia at the Swedish Embassy, in the heart of Georgetown. A unique and unforgettable gala of Swedish holiday traditions, music, and dance was enjoyed by all.

An elegant soiree awaited ICDC Members on Valentine's Day at the Embassy of France. We enjoyed a stylish evening in the city of lights featuring French cuisine, wine, desserts and dancing to a live band followed by a DJ. We hope to see you at our next Embassy soiree!

Great Falls Park, one of DC’s most spectacular displays of nature, is just minutes from DC. We enjoyed a day of hiking and socializing amidst views of waterfalls, the Potomac River, as well as nature along the C and O Canal.

Rock Creek Park is an oasis of nature with streams, hills, and picturesque landscapes only a few minutes from the heart of DC. Our hikes are a great opportunity to meet other ICDC members who love the outdoors while enjoying nature.

We discovered the tropical island paradise of Sri Lanka at a very special dinner reception hosted for ICDC Members at the residence of the Ambassador of Sri Lanka that featured Sri Lankan music and dancing along with Sri Lankan delicacies prepared by the embassy chef.

We enjoyed the annual spectacle of the Cherry Blossoms along the Tidal Basin in the company of other ICDC members. Over 200 ICDC members attended the event presenting a feast of international cuisine prepared for the picnic by our own members.

The fall foliage turns Rock Creek Park into a kaleidoscope of vibrant colors. We enjoyed a nature hike with other ICDC members who enjoy the outdoors amidst spectacular views of Rock Creek and the hills painted in the spectacular colors of fall.

Our dance soirees at the French Embassy provide a wonderful opportunity to meet other ICDC members while learning how to ballroom dance and enjoying French desserts and wine.

Join us for our monthly Argentine Tango evenings to learn one of the most passionate and romantic dances. A partner or prior dance experience is not necessary and the lessons are followed by a tango dance Milonga reminiscent of Buenos Aires.
