Event Description

Step into a festive and refined atmosphere where black-tie style meets a hint of spirited country flair, and enjoy a memorable night of music, dancing, and conversation with a welcoming group of internationally minded professionals, diplomats, and guests from across Washington.

Ticket availability is limited and ticket prices are subject to increase so reserve your tickets early! 

Enjoy light fare along with drinks available for purchase at the cash bar. Kindly note that this is a cocktail-style evening rather than a seated dinner.

Dance Lessons
New to dancing? We’ve got you covered. The evening begins with a fun and easy introductory lesson in swing and two-step, followed by dancing the night away to a live band. No partner or prior dance experience is needed. We’ll have you out on the dance floor in no time, even if it’s your first time!

Dance to a Live Band
The evening continues with a live band performing a vibrant mix of American favorites and swing classics, creating a lively and festive atmosphere on the dance floor. Dance the night away or simply enjoy the music with friends!

Historic Meserve-Lloyd House
Set in the historic Meserve-Lloyd House, a Tudor-style mansion built in 1912, the evening unfolds in a richly elegant setting defined by leaded-glass windows, grand fireplaces, and finely detailed interiors that evoke the charm of a bygone era. Its intimate salons and warm architectural character create a refined and inviting atmosphere, offering a distinctive backdrop for a magnificent gala celebration. Enjoy an evening of music, dancing, and social elegance in one of Washington’s most enchanting historic residences.

The Embassy is located about close to the Du Pont Circle Metro station. Parking for the event is limited to street parking in the vicinity of the Ambassador's Residence. There will be no parking available at the Residemce. Due to the limited availability of parking, Uber, a cab or another transportation arrangement is highly recommended.
